Another lovely Rickety Bridge wedding but also a destination wedding for Hannah & Alex. Hannah’s family have been visiting South Africa for a number of years and they absolutely love it here. It seemed fitting that Franschhoek, and more specifically Rickety Bridge Wines played host to this wonderful celebration. And so it was that friends and family made the trip out to South Africa to celebrate with Hannah & Alex.

Two things that we can say for sure about our UK clients, and that we’ve seen over an over, is that they love the sun, and they love a good party. And what a perfect sun filled happy day it was in late February for Hannah and Alex’s Rickety Bridge wedding. Being able to have your ceremony with the mountains and vineyards as a backdrop is very special. And even more special, at night when the fairy lights come on, and you are able to dance under the stars. It’s not hard to see why so many couples choose Rickety Bridge for their wedding.

HANNAH AND ALEX’S RICKETY BRIDGE WEDDING DAY

Anybody’s worst nightmare is to fall ill on their wedding day. Poor Hannah had a dreadful bug that had been lingering for a few days. She was functioning on very little sleep, but my goodness, did she pull this one off. Didn’t she look absolutely gorgeous? AND, she did her own make-up and her lovely bridesmaid did her hair.

Alex looked very dapper in his suit. The two of them make such a good looking couple. During our zoom chat, Hannah & Alex were adamant that they were not keen on photos.
They both said they are super camera shy. Turns out they may have some hidden talents as they filled our lenses with their loveliness!

Guests were treated to to wonderful food, good wine and great entertainment. We’re guessing that for the first time visitors this little taster will definitely see them returning.
