A beautiful Bon Cap venue wedding with a gorgeous couple and you certainly have very happy wedding photographers!  Casey and Emille’s special day certainly was right down our alley!

THE VENUE

Being wedding photographers in Cape Town, does not mean we shoot only locally. Nothing makes us happier than hopping in the car and heading off on a road trip to shoot an out of town wedding.

Bon Cap venue in the Little Karoo is under 2 hours from Cape Town, so makes for an easy day trip. Owner, Michelle who also happens to be chef extraordinaire as well as queen of pretty décor has the amazing ability of personlaising each wedding to her couples specific needs. Casey & Emille’s intimate wedding with only a handful of family and friends was perfectly orchestrated just for them.

WHAT WE LOVED ABOUT CASEY & EMILLE’S BON CAP VENUE WEDDING DAY

There were a few amazing things that stood out for us on Casey & Emille’s Bon Cap venue wedding day. We loved the Scottish touches in honour of the Mackenzie clan. Not only did the bride and her mum sport a splendid sash, some family members were dressed to the nines in their kilts too. Then, let’s take a moment to appreciate the pretty bouquets made by Yvonne, the brides talented mum. Not to mention the biltong cake with biltong supplied by close friend, Tiaan and put together by Michelle of the venue. Definitely our kind of cake! Oh, and to top it all, when your musical friend Elana steps in as dj, you sure have a good party. Keep an eye out for Casey’s fabulous 92 year old gran partying up a storm!

Moving right along to the lovely couple. Casey & Emille are some of the most humble, down to earth people we have had the pleasure of working with. They are both so easy going and total naturals in front of the camera. We were blessed with the most perfect light for the couple shoot (and our favourite “dust maker” Tiaan) who added to the ambience.
