Cindy's Baby Bump

Taking these Cape Town Baby Bump photos felt more like we were doing a shoot for a magazine!  Cindy is just the most beautiful person to photograph.  She is such a natural in front of the camera.  We hardly had to do any ‘directing!’

We photographed Cindy and Owen’s Allee Bleu wedding a while back, and now they are expecting a little girl.  We are so honoured to have been a part of this next beautiful journey in their lives.

Cindy decided on an urban look and feel for her Cape Town baby bump photos.  We absolutely LOVE shooting in the Cape Town cbd, so we were very excited when she chose this option.  After checking out a few spots, we decided on Bree street.  Being a Sunday afternoon there was lots of parking, and most places had shut for the day, so we had shop fronts and buildings to ourselves.

We could have spent an entire day shooting this beauty!

I must say, doing these kinds of shoots is so refreshing.  On wedding days you always have to be conscious about time, and you have to do a lot of thinking on your feet.   When doing other creative shoots, you are able to take in so much more of the surroundings and there’s no wedding dress to get dirty, bossy bridesmaids or a reception to run back to!  And when you have the perfect model along with a great backdrop, you kind of zone out into photography heaven!
