This Cape Town elopement at the Steenberg Hotel was nothing short of perfect.  Autumn in the Constantia winelands is pretty special too!  And when you have two people who tick every single box in your ideal couple bucket list, then work is not a job!

With the world being all strange at the moment, many people are opting for an elopement instead of a large wedding.  What better place to elope than in Cape Town?  This is exactly what Marinda & Nico did.  They left the rat race that is Joburg behind, and opted for a Cape Town elopement.  The two of them flew down with their pastor and his wife.  Right there, on the lawn, in front of the manor house, with the Autumn leaves falling, they promised forever!

Now back to my mention of our ideal couple.  You are probably wondering what you’d need to do to get on that list.  The answer is very little actually. It has nothing to do with colour, creed, shape or size.  But it has EVERYTHING to do with the couple.

All we ask is that you be yourselves.  When you are so madly in love that you cannot hide it, that makes us happy!  When you are full of energy, take on our crazy ideas and you cannot stop smiling.  THAT, that is our perfect couple.

Marinda & Nico, you were exactly ALL of those things and more!

Marinda is a talented photographer herself.  It’s always hard to not get involved, we speak from experience,  but on their special day, Marinda was a bride,  and nothing else.  She left it up to us to do the rest!

Steenberg  Estate still remains high on our list of  top wedding venues in Cape Town.  They have some great specials at the moment, and it’s the PERFECT venue for a Cape Town elopement.
