Cape Town Vacation Photography

This Cape Town vacation photography session left us on such a high. It’s amazing what one can capture in just 30 minutes on a perfect day in Cape Town!

Natasha & Jason are from Atlanta, Georgia. This was their first visit to Cape Town and it certainly was a whistle stop tour of note! They literally only had 4 days here! Although their time was limited for site seeing, one thing Natasha really wanted to fit in was a Cape Town Vacation Photography session. Her only request was that it be on a beach somewhere. Cape Town is spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, but that in itself has it’s own set of problems. When the weather is glorious, the beaches are packed. And when the beaches are packed, it becomes a photographers worst nightmare. We knew we had to make it count as we only had 30 minutes.

We decided to head down to Maiden’s Cove just before sunset.

Being a week day, it would not be that packed, and at that time, unless specifically coming for sunset, most visitors will have left. We were super lucky to have the place almost to ourselves.

Natasha’s powder blue dress worked PERFECTLY with the textures of the rocks and the colour of the ocean. She was a complete natural in front of the camera, and lapped up every moment of the attention on herself. We are so happy that Jason joined for some shots too.
