Eensgezind Durbanville wedding
Amanda & Luthando
What an amazing day it was shooting Amanda & Luthando’s Eensgezind Durbanville wedding! From the streets of Paris, where she resides, to a dairy farm outside Durbanville. That’s Amanda for you. An elegant business woman, but an African queen at heart. And that is why she chose to come home for her wedding. To be with the people who are most dear to her.
Amanda and Luthando complement each other so well. Luthando is the calmer and reserved one, who does not like too much attention. Amanda literally bubbles over with personality! She cannot hide what she feels, and that’s why it was SUCH a pleasure taking photos of her as she was just SO excited about her wedding day! It’s also no secret that she adores the camera!
We met up with Luthando and the boys first at the Four Palms Guest House in Durbanville, and got a few shots of them getting ready before heading off to Amanda & the girls at Le Petit Chateau.
Think bling, and pink and a beautiful wedding gown form a bridal shop in Paris. Add to the a bunch of gorgeous happy people, and you know you are in for a treat!
From the minute the ceremony of Amanda and Luthando’s Eensgezind Durbanville wedding started, till the time it came for us to leave the reception, it was just one happiness fest!
There were so many spontaneous moments. How special to see the guests so involved in the wedding day. They were truly present and part of the moment with so much joy, laughter and singing.
Our couple shoot was crazy windy! Amanda was all eager to have the rustic farm look as a backdrop, and we made it work, even though we were sandblasted from time to time! She also adores bodies of water, so we made sure to include one of the farm dams too!
Amanda, you, Luthando and your beautiful daughter make magic happen wherever you are! Thank you for choosing us to document your special Eensgezind Durbanville wedding.
We leave you with these words by George Sand: “ Il n’y a qu’un bonheur dans la vie, c’est d’aimer et d’être aimé.”
We hope you love your images!

What a fabulous team to work with; both patient and passionate, they love everything about what they do and are so invested in your day they go above and beyond the call of duty… Selma and Andre are also flexible and accommodate all the hurdles that come with a wedding day so the least of your worries will be the pictures and your photographers. They give you a package that is well worth your while and the aftercare is also phenomenal. They have kept communicating since the wedding day about the progress of the pics and it kept the excitement going. honestly one of the best decisions I made about my wedding day!
Oh Amanda, what a lovely message, thank you. And we feel the same about you. You were such an organized, chilled bride and such a huge pleasure to work with. We loved meeting you all and creating special memories for you! Now lets do that shoot in Paris ♥
