Carmen & Clint

We are always keen to shoot an Eensgezind farm wedding, as it’s literally down the road from our house in Durbanville.  So after a long day of shooting, it’s a ten minute drive and we’re home!  What a pleasure!

You can tell so much from just a one hour meeting with a couple.  Over a cup of coffee it did not take long to figure out that these two lovely people were destined to be together.  Other than being besotted over each other, they are both kind, gentle people.  They are super organized.  And they both put their religion high up on their list of priorities.  And then they are just so cute together!

Clint and the boys got dressed in one of the cottages on the farm, whilst Carmen and the girls did their preparations at her Aunt’s home not far away.  It certainly was a super hot day for Carmen and Clint’s Eensgezind farm weddng out in the Durbanville farmlands, and there was thunder and lightning brewing.  It made for amazing skies though!

The ceremony took place out on the deck next to the lake.  Just look at that tear rolling down Clint’s cheek as he watched his beautiful bride walking down the aisle.  Such special moments.  And it’s these unscripted moments that we love capturing the most.  You can’t plan for them.

While guests enjoyed drinks and canapes, we headed across the road to the actual working farm.  A rustic farm shoot, it most certainly was.  Haystacks and farm equipment were our backdrops.  We had so much fun with Carmen, Clint and their bridal party!

The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches, yummy food, good party vibes and happy people.  Just as it should be.

Carmen and Clint, thank you for choosing us to capture your lovely Eensgezind farm wedding.  You two are really lucky to have found each other!
