Candice & Bevin
Candice & Bevin
Ahhhhhhh what bliss! Candice and Bevin are such a gorgeous couple! It’s amazing what a burst of colour can do to bring out the fun element when you have your engagement photos taken. Often times, our couples ask us for suggestions on what to wear for their shoot. Maybe some photographers prefer a more classic, conservative look, but we absolutely love it when couples think out the box a little. A dash of colour goes a long way, and you have no idea how good it looks through the lens. We’d still like to find the person who started the blue jeans and white t-shirt rule – we’d like to burn that book!
Originally we had a winter shoot planned. This is probably the first time we have ever wished for rain on the day of a shoot. Sounds crazy, but Candice had visions of dancing about in rain puddles with her red boots and umbrella, with a few light raindrops falling (sounds very romantic doesn’t it.) She told us she was going to send a few prayers upstairs to ask for rain too.
We even had a Pinterest board going with all of our ideas! Well, Candice, next time you know to be more specific with your requests –especially when it comes to wind speed and amount of rain – lol! We had to postpone the shoot twice! We should know by now how unpredictable the weather can be in Cape Town.
Nevertheless, it was third time lucky for us, and although it was December, Candice was going to use those red boots and brolly! Just add a cute little outfit, some red lips (and handsome Bevin) and it is photographer’s heaven!
We met up at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock. We ended off further down Albert Road with some street art.
Candice and Bevan, we had so much fun with you two!
WHO MADE THE WEDDING POSSIBLE?
- How darn cute Candice looked when she got out of their car in her denim outfit and her red boots.
- The fact that we literally had the whole precinct to ourselves as everyone had gone home. Usually we are there to shop and fill our faces with yummy treats from the Neighbourgoods market!
- Candice and Bevin’s laid back vibe that made shooting a real treat.
