Georgia & Leon

This Fish Hoek Engagement shoot left us on such a high.  With the most spectacular little boutique café as a location, a gorgeous couple and a cozy rainy day – what more could photographers ask for?  Well, we got all that and more!  It’s just amazing how people cross your paths in the most unexpected of ways, and then you get to document their awesomeness!

We’d never met Georgia & Leon until the day of their Fish Hoek engagement shoot.  They came referred to us via a family member we met at the Robertson Wedding Fair earlier this year.  It’s always such a huge compliment to us when couples book us, and we’ve never even met.  It’s more than that though, and we are forever grateful for the trust they put in us to document their most special of days.  In Georgia and Leon’s case their wedding is going to be a celebration of note.  We are literally documenting 4 days of festivities!  It’s going to be epic!

Georgia and Leon were down from Joburg, and we’d planned a beach engagement shoot.  But on the day the Cape of Storms decided this was not meant to be.

We were all pretty disappointed.  Enter Stargarden, Fish Hoek.  Georgia came up with this fabulous plan B, and we are SO happy she did!  Thank you to Aldo for allowing us to use their beautiful space.  He was so hospitable and accommodating too!  What fun it was shooting between all of the quirky décor and the gorgeous art on the walls.  We believe the food there is amazing too, so we will definitely be going back to try some for ourselves!

Georgia and Leon are such a cool couple!  We loved their playful interactions with each other.  It makes photographing them a breeze!  It’s also totally obvious they are meant to be, and it’s been this way ever since they met.  We absolutely loved Georgia’s folk’s rendition of their first date!

Guys, we cannot wait for your wedding.  You really are the kind of couple who remind us why we love what we do!  Your Fish Hoek engagement shoot was just a little taster!
