Franschhoek Interior shoot Maison Montagne

Maison Montagne

What an unbelievable spot for this Franschhoek interior shoot!  High above the  valley is the beautiful Dieu Donné Vineyards.  It is well known for it’s fabulous eatery and it is also an esteemed  Franschhoek wedding venue.  Popular among tourists as well as locals, it is a definitely worth a stop on your next visit to Franschhoek.

And now they have taken it one step further.  Under the watchful and very creative eye of Llewellyn Lambert, they have added a 5 bedroomed accommodation establishment to the melting pot.  This literally makes Dieu Donné  a one stop wedding venue.  The amazing Maison Montagne is perfect for the bride and her tribe, or even both the bride and groom in their own “his” and “hers” suite.  Besides hosting wedding guests, it’s the perfect spot for a weekend or even a mid week break away.

Who does not love doing an interior shoot when the decor for each suite has been meticulously selected.  Each one individual with it’s decor accessories and colour palette.  Just the art on the walls alone is amazing!  We LOVED the beautiful big bathrooms and spacious rooms.  The finishes are of top quality too.  I mean who does not like matte black tapware and shower accessories!?  If it’s the view you are after, we’d definitely recommend the upstairs mountain facing rooms, but if you want easy access to the pool, the downstairs suites are amazing and they also have their own little private courtyards!

Coming down the beautiful staircase you are in the lounge and dining area.  It has such a lovely feel, and the thing that is so striking is that it would be perfect in any season.  In summer you can just slip out of patio doors for outdoor living, but in winter I could imagine lying curled up on the couch reading with the fire roaring (and of course with a glass or two of the lovely estate wines in!)
