Nina & Pieter’s Gelukkie wedding day was absolute bliss; in every aspect. Beautiful couple, perfect weather in one of our favourite West Coast villages and a venue we’ve been dying to work at for ages now!

Nina, Pieter and their family and friends came from up country to have a destination beach wedding at Gelukkie in Paternoster. We are so honoured that they chose us to document their special day. We met them a couple of months back when they were down on holiday and we did their engagement shoot for them.

Nina and Pieter are like yin and yang. Pieter the more serious, quiet one, and Nina the outgoing bubbly one. They complement each other perfectly.

Nina & Pieter had a beautiful ceremony on the beach. The morning started off quite chilly and misty, but by the ceremony time, it was perfect!

Afterwards everyone went off to Gelukkie for canapes and drinks. The venue has such a wonderful relaxed vibe in a beautiful space under the trees.

After a few family photos, we snuck off to do the couple shoot. It was like déjà vu being back on the beach at Paternoster with these two. Only difference was that they were now Mr and Mrs and they had on wedding attire. They were still as lovely as ever!
