Megan & Eben

Megan & Eben’s In Harmonie Franschhoek wedding was one of those that left us with all the feels.  These two just radiate love, joy and happiness!  And let me tell you, it was totally infectious!  No pun intended, considering the current state we find ourselves in, and taking into account that the two of them along with a number of their guests are all qualified doctors!  But truth be told, Megan and Eben, their families, friends and bridal party take “shiny, happy people” to a whole new level!

Megan & Eben both have such strong convictions in their faith.   The beautiful, tranquil In Harmonie venue in Franschhoek could not have been a more suited setting for them to celebrate their love.

The boys got ready at the lovely cottages at In Harmonie.  Megan and the girls got ready in the stately manor house at La Motte.

Being Cape Town wedding photographers, we are not far from the Cape Winelands.  There are just so many amazing venues to choose from.  The setting for the ceremony of Megan & Eben’s In Harmonie Franschhoek wedding is probably what made this day the most special.  I am sure that if your faith is as strong as theirs, getting married amidst tall wooden crosses with mountain vistas in every which direction, you cannot help but be moved.

We were blown away at how this wedding venue along with the co-operation of guests and service providers proved that gatherings,  under strict protocol are entirely possible.  Luckily these two said their “I dos” in early December.  This was before the stricter lock down measures were put in place and social gatherings and alcohol were banned once more!

Another special memory on the day was when Megan, Eben and a few of their friends dressed up in their graduation robes for a few photos.  Due to the current situation, they were unable to have a proper graduation ceremony.  We are so glad we could get a few shots of you guys in your regalia!

Megan and Eben, it was such a pleasure working with you both.  All of our communication and coffee dates leading up to your In Harmonie Franschhoek wedding were just a tiny taster of your love and energy that culminated in your special day!
