Our first Landtscap wedding! What an incredible venue. A more apt name there could not be for a wedding venue. The scenery and views are magnificent.

Aqeelah & Nadeem’s Landtscap wedding was not our first encounter with this lovely couple. We’d previously shot their engagement function, and had met the family prior to this when we shot Nadeem’s brother’s wedding. What a wonderful bunch of people!

Sadly, we had prior commitments, and we were unable to shoot the Nikkah which had been changed to the day before, but we know they were in good hands. Our day started off at Aqeelah’s home where she got ready and was joined by her dashing groom. We always love a “first look,” and absolutely adore the reactions when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. We did a quick pit stop to greet Nadeem’s gran and brother who were unable to attend the wedding

Our next stop was the beautiful Landtscap wedding venue. It was a super hot day, but the beautiful cool interior with views for days made sure everyone was nice and cool.

The wind picked up speed in the afternoon, and it was pretty unpleasant outside. But that’s the thing with weather in Cape Town in Summer. It’s kind of the luck of the draw. Heat and wind, take your pick! But we always tell our couples when the elements are against you, you have 2 choices. Either be miserable and have no photos, or just embrace it and make the most of it! Thankfully after warming up a little to the elements, these two just let it go and we had so much fun on the hill behind the Landtscap Venue.

Added bonus that we did not have a reception to get back to, so we snuck in a little extra shooting time1
