Old Mac Daddy wedding

This was our first time shooting an Old Mac Daddy wedding. What an absolutely amazing setting! I mean, a beach in the middle of the orchards, airstream trailers, a quirky venue, mountain views to die for and just all round awesomeness! So much so, that that we found ourselves talking about going back for some R&R sometime ourselves!
But enough about the the Old Mac Daddy wedding venue, and let’s introduce you to our lovely couple Amber & Sean. Amber, originally from South Africa, met her sweet heart Sean in the UK. But it gets more international than that, Sean is originally from Australia. And here they were, having their wedding down south at the tip of Africa.
A more chilled couple, you will not find! Even though the day threw a few curve balls their way, such as a long power outage, and Amber’s dad having a small accident, they could not have been less bothered! Amber literally had her hair done in a store room to be close to the generator! These two had only one thing on their mind, and that was marrying each other. And nothing would get in their way.
And it’s just so lovely to see how they interacted with family and friends, and how the little things are actually the big things!
One of the lovely gestures on the day was their friends helping to decorate the venue. How special is that? Something else that stood out, was that directly after the ceremony the two of them went for a private moment together on the “beach” with a glass of bubbly.
There were many more special moments, but we’ll let our images tell the rest of the story. Amber and Sean, you two were absolutely made for each other. May you still have many adventures together!

What a natural bride! So many can learn from her. Old Mac Daddy a great place for a one night breakaway too. Pieter and I have done it twice, choosing a quirky-themed caravan. You will love it too.
These two were just so lovely to photograph. And their wedding day was all about the right things that REALLY matter! Yes, definitely on our bucket list of places to stay now!
