Paternoster Engagement shoot

Nina & Pieter

What a gorgeous Paternoster Engagement shoot!  On a perfect sunshiny day in April we took a drive up the West Coast to the little fishing village of Paternoster.  We decided to make an afternoon of it.  Who cannot resist some fresh fish and chips for lunch when you are on the West Coast?  So that’s just what we did before we met up with beautiful Nina & Pieter for their engagement shoot.

We’d been communicating for some time re the perfect location for their shoot.  At one stage we were going for a quirky setting, then a forest setting, then a farm setting.  But it seems their hearts were drawn back to the ocean.  Living up country, I think the sea somehow has a tendency to lure you to its shores.  But there’s more.  This lovely couple have also chosen Paternoster as the place where they will be saying their “we do’s” later this year.

The West coast was certainly showing off in all of its glory for Nina & Pieter’s Paternoster engagement shoot.  When you do a beach shoot, it’s always a gamble with wind.  But this day was absolutely wind still, warm and ended with a spectacular sunset for our lovely couple.

Nina with her long flowy hair and beautiful eyes has found her soul mate, in the gentle, quiet Pieter.  A perfect match.  We had such a lovely time with them.   You’ve immediately got to love a couple who don’t mind getting their feet wet, cold and sandy all for the sake of stunning photos!

Nina & Pieter, thank you so much for choosing us to do your Paternoster engagement shoot.  We hope that you love the photos!  Good luck with all of the wedding planning ahead!  You are going to make one gorgeous wedding couple!  That’s for sure!
