Nikita & Wesley

Nikita and Wesley’s Table Mountain proposal shoot was nothing short of amazing.  Honestly, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.  How lucky are we to call this home?

Wesley had told Nikita they were flying to Cape Town for a wedding.  Meantime, we’d been chatting over What’s App to plan his whole surprise Table Mountain proposal shoot.  I never thought I could be this good at telling fibs.

So the story went like this… We were to meet Nikita and Wesley as they excited the cable car station on the top of Table Mountain.  Wesley had even sent an image earlier on so we could even see what they were wearing!  I spun a story about working for Cape Town Tourism, and that we’d been assigned to take photos of random couples enjoying their outing to Table Mountain.  We’d planned with Wesley an approximate time and signal when “the deed” was to happen.  Let me tell you, it was not easy keeping up with the fibs for a whole thirty minutes!

And so there it was,  right on top of the world, high above Cape Town that Wesley proposed to the love of his life…and she said YES!  How special to be part of this beautiful once in a lifetime moment.  We could finally let the cat out of the bag, and we could disclose who we ACTUALLY were!  What happy moments!  We spent the rest of the time until sunset doing a gorgeous couple shoot for them on the top of Table Mountain.
