Elza & Tom

Elza & Tom’s wedding at the Venue at Pearl Mountain could not have been more perfect!   Let’s just say It made missing the Rugby World Cup final all the more easier!  But what was even more uncanny was that it was a South African lass marrying an English lad!  What were the chances?  All’s well that ends well and Elza & Tom’s happy day soon made all the English hurt disappear and all was forgiven!

Elza and Tom really are two of the sweetest people.  Meeting them for coffee to chat about their wedding day, it felt more like meeting old friends for a cuppa.  Time just seemed to fly by!

And it did, and before we knew it, it was their wedding day at the Venue at Pearl Mountain.  What a little gem of a venue that we’ve never worked at before.  Beautiful mountain backdrops, vineyards and open fields.  What more could a photographer ask for?  Add to that a union between two families.  With so many of Elza and Tom’s  friends and family flying in for their destination wedding it was bound to be a social and happy day filled with lots of love!

It was a beautiful day in Paarl.  Thankfully there was a little bit of a breeze blowing to cool things down.  After a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with the cutest little flower girls and ring bearers we might add, guests enjoyed canapes on the deck overlooking the mountains while we went off for the couple shoot.

Elza and Tom are so comfy with each other that we mostly just let them be, and very little directing was needed!  These two just go so well together and most certainly were made for each other!
