Vredenburg Manor Guest House

Cape Winelands Luxury Accommodation

Vredenburg Manor Guest house is situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Almost slap bang between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, its proximity to some of the Cape’s finest wine farms makes it the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area.

As you come up the tree lined drive to Vredenburg Manor Guest House, your first gaze is of the beautiful Cape Dutch manor house with its imposing gable. The grounds are lush, with the most amazing bird life, including a resident owl family. On arrival, there is no doubt, you will be welcomed with open arms by the wonderful hosts Luke or Leon.

Once inside the cool white walls, this stately old dame reveals her historic beauty. A formal dining area, lounge and reading room mean you can choose where to while away your time. The guest dining area into which the sun comes streaming, makes it super intimate and cozy. There is also a guest loo and little bar area.

One of our favourite features of Vredenburg Manor Guest house is the undercover patio area. Looking out over the swimming pool and the mountains, it is the perfect spot for chilling. It’s also a great place to have breakfast. The swimming pool with its sun loungers is just glorious.

The manor house has 5 amazing suites, all with en-suite bathrooms. Amazing is actually an understatement. I don’t think our images even do justice to these spacious, luxurious rooms with top notch finishes. There’s also a communal lounge area upstairs leading on to a small patio.

And if you prefer to do your own thing, there are two self catering units at Vredenburg Manor guest house. They are sizeable and well equipped, and both fitted with braai facilities.

If you are looking for an amazing wedding venue, then this is certainly one to add to your list. Oh, and if you need a photographer, do get in touch, it would be a great excuse for us to go back!

We were so sad to leave the amazing Vredenburg Manor Guest house after two days of shooting. Thank you Luke, Leon and the amazing staff for your kind hospitality during our stay. We really hope to be back soon!
