This Vredenheim Hudsons wedding was postponed several times due to the crazy times we find ourselves in. But boy oh boy, when it happened it was glorious!

About the Couple

We met Jessica & Patrice for a cup of coffee at the Mugg & Bean in the week leading up to their wedding. We immediately felt their connection and love for each other. I mean come on, they met in primary school! And all these years later, they got married. Such a romantic story! Jessica has a laugh and a smile like no other, and Patrice absolutely dotes over her. He is probably more the reserved one, but get to know him and you soon realize he has a super fun side to him! But here;s the thing, not only are these two good looking on the outside, they are genuine souls too.

On the day

Jessica looked like she had just stepped out of a bridal magazine. We even got to do a little mini boudoir shoot, but that is for Patrice’s private album only. There were a whole lot of bridesmaids shenanigans too, but those too may be a bit sketchy for general consumption. Lets just leave it there!

If you are having a Vredenheim Hudsons wedding, you are able to make use of the guest accommodation on the estate. This is exactly what Patrice and the guys did. This is also where our day started. I don’t think we’ve seen that many tattooed bodies in one small guest house before! Our cameras loved it though!

The outdoor wedding ceremony setting at Vredenheim Hudsons is always a winner. The weather was pretty perfect too! It’s always fun working with Troy as the marriage officiant, as he has a way of getting the bride, groom and guests smiling and interacting. This allows for the capturing of all those sneaky little moments!

Guests enjoyed canapes while we did the family photos and then a very quick couple shoot. Luckily we could sneak out after sunset for a few more images.

This was a party crowd for sure! The reception was filled with laughs, tears and interesting dance moves, just the way we like it!
