Naseema & Muazzam

Oh what a beautiful colourful and love filled day Naseema & Muazzam had at Zarose Wedding Venue.  It was just so hard narrowing down the images for this post!

It was a real scorcher of a day.  Mind you, the wind did pick up later in the day causing a bit of havoc with the décor.  It was super fun during the couple shoot though, as Naseema had a gorgeous long veil which literally took on a life of its own!

This was our first time shooting a Nikah where the bride was not present in the mosque.  The men attended the ceremony at the Stellenbosch masjid, and the ladies gathered at the venue.  What a colourful collage they all made in their beautiful outfits.  To add to this, they all received paper fans which added such a pretty touch.  And believe me in the heat of the day, they were rather useful too!

After the Nikah, guests got to enjoy some refreshments and take in the lovely views whilst the couple had their dress change.  I just love how Naseema went for the more traditional look with her head scarf and traditional jewelry.  I think it complimented her almost boho dress perfectly.  And how cute is her little niece?

Guests enjoyed a wonderful reception.  Choosing Zarose Wedding venue for a day time wedding with a chilled vibe is perfect.  Who would not want to end off the day with waffles at the edge of the lake overlooking the mountains whilst being entertained with live music.

We had such fun during the couple shoot.  I think the highlight was the swing!  Naseema definitely let out her inner child for a while!  Not only that, it’s just so evident that these two are madly in love with each other, and they are just such a pleasure to photograph!

To stick with tradition, we ended off the day by going to the bride’s family home where she bids farewell to her old life and is welcomed home by her new family.  We also had a glimpse of the gorgeous little flatlett where Naseema & Muazzam will start off this next chapter in their lives.
