Belair Pavilion wedding

NJ & Matthew

THE COUPLE

Photographing a Belair Pavilion wedding is always such a treat! And even better when you have such an amazing couple!  We first met these two gentle souls when we photographed their engagement shoot a few months ago.  They both appeared reserved at first, but it soon became clear they were total naturals in front of the lens, and oh so sweet together.

THE VENUE

Nurjehan, or NJ for short and Matthew’s wedding day started off being rainy and rather chilly. Well, the chill didn’t go away, but when it was time for the ceremony and couple shoot, not a drop fell from the sky. It could not have been more lovely.

For those of you who have not yet attended a Belair Pavilion wedding, or if you are a couple still looking for an amazing wedding venue, you should definitely add this to your list. Everything about this venue is unique. The surround glass reception venue with its touches of industrial steel makes the inside come in. It has the cutest ivy clad little wedding chapel. Then not to mention how gorgeous the grounds are. From labyrinths to roses, a sculptured hedge and reflective pond; there really is something beautiful every which way you look at Belair Pavilion.

The great thing about having a Belair Pavilion wedding is that the bride and groom can both get ready on the property, and again, both are in such unique structures. They are far enough from each other to make sure the groom gets no sneaky peeks of the bride beforehand!

THE WEDDING DAY

While guests enjoyed the most beautiful canapés around the open fire pit, we snuck off for the couple shoot. Just as the real chill set in we rejoined the reception. With so much glass, you’d expect the venue to be really cold inside, but it was warm and toasty with the heaters on. Or maybe it was just that there was so much love in the room. A very special coming together of two families.

NJ and Matthew, we are so honoured that you chose us to document your beautiful Belair Pavilion wedding. You two are so perfect together, and such an example of putting love first.
