THE FINAL TOUCHES

When it comes to post production of your images, rest assured that each of your precious memories will receive individual attention. No outsourcing to 3^rd parties or batch edits. For us, editing is almost like a second shoot. Except this time we get to manipulate the image so that you not only see it, but “feel” it too! We’re not big on presets. Your images will be true to life; as things were on the day, but just a little enhanced. We don’t want your photos to go “out of fashion.” Moments, not filters matter. Years from now, we still want your memories to be timeless. We do love ourselves a little contrasty black and white, so unless you specifically request all colour, be sure to have a few thrown into the mix.

A WALK IN THE PARK

One of the biggest compliments we receive from our couples is our ability to make them feel at ease in front of the camera. Let’s face it, unless you are a super model, being in front of the lens can sometimes be daunting. We blend in seamlessly, and if it wasn’t for the fact that we have cameras attached to our faces for most of the day, we could be mistaken for wedding guests. We often leave a wedding feeling like we are saying good bye to “old friends” and not clients.

PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE

In a nutshell, at the end of the day, we want our images to tell the visual story of your wedding in a creative, intentional and empathetic way. When you look at your images, we want you to feel the wind in your hair, the tear rolling down your cheek, or the aching tummy from all of the laughter.

One aspect we deem very important, is loyalty to our clients. Once you pay your booking fee, the only thing that will come between us and your wedding day, is death. Just a few months ago, we had a guaranteed wedding booking in Germany, but it happened to be on a date that was already taken. It sounds terrible to say, but we know of quite a few photographers who would have written that “Dear Johnny” letter, but we didn’t.

CONTENT CREATION

The “in thing” at the moment, is having a content creator at your wedding. Well, hello, there are two of us! We’ve been making highlight reels for the past 2 years already! So should you go ahead and secure our photography services for your wedding, there’s not need for an additional person. You also have the added bonus of your content being created by an experienced photographer.

EQUIPMENT

Asking a photographer what equipment they use is somewhat annoying and of no real relevance. What is more important though, is that your wedding photographer is using pro equipment. An more importantly that they have back up cameras and lenses should something go wrong on the day. At any given moment, we will have with us 3 camera bodies and a minimum of 6 lenses. We have several flashes, and a ton of memory cards and batteries to last for a full wedding day.

ARCHIVING YOUR IMAGES

We are a little OCD about backing up your precious memories. Once we get home, your images will be safely stored in up to 3 different locations and only deleted once your final gallery has been handed over. Of course, on the wedding day a freak incident can happen, but remember, there are two of us, so nothing will ever be completely lost!
