This intimate beach wedding in Pringle Bay gave us all the feels. If we could clone Savannah & Dominic’s day over and over again, we would!
AN UNCONVENTIONAL WEDDING DAY
Where do we even begin? Savannah & Dominic decided to have a bit of an unconventional wedding. Just for the record, that rates high up on our list of things that make us super happy. I mean come on. When the two rescue pups get almost more attention than the wedding couple, you know it is going to be a fun day.
So what else really stood out for us about Sav & Dom’ s intimate beach wedding? Think a fabulous beach air bnb that could accommodate a handful of friends and family. Decorations folded by hand and fairy lights strung up. Some wild flowers and succulents as gift favours. The scene was set. We have photographed a number of intimate west coast beach weddings, but never worked along this part of the South African coastline. This is what makes our jobs as Cape Town wedding photographers so unique and exciting! We get to have new experiences along the way with all of our couples.
When one of your besties conducts the ceremony (with many a laugh and a few tears) and you have another friend who just happens to bring along his dj decks, the vibes can only be good!
THE STARS OF THE SHOW
But the real stars of this intimate beach wedding were Sav & Dom. What an amazing couple. With shoes kicked off and hair blowing in the wind we ran up and down sand dunes and got our feet wet in the chilly water. We’ve also maintained that if you don’t return to your guests a little grubby and disheveled, then you weren’t adventurous enough. Sav and Dom, you two ticked every single box for being totally amazing.
We are sure the real party started after we left and that you all had the best time!

I cannot believe how lucky we got in finding the two of you to be our photographers!
We had an amazing day at our wedding and it was such a pleasure and honor to have you there to capture it.
Selma and Andre, I absolutely loved how involved you guys were during the day. It felt so organic and really added so much to the unique experience that we were trying to create.
The two of you were not just on the sidelines documenting the day. You were on the dunes with us, being buffeted by the wind with us, laughing with us, loving the dogs with us, and altogether just having an absolute blast with us.
The guests loved you, the dogs loved you and so did we!
