This intimate Bon Cap wedding left us with all the feels! We could not have thought of a nicer couple to have ended off our year with. And at one of our favourite venues too!  Although we love being wedding photographers in Cape Town, nothing excites us more than hopping in our car and traveling to the little Karoo to cover a wedding!

THE LOVELY COUPLE

There is just so much to love about Catherine & Jan-Harm. A more carefree couple you wouldn’t easily find! A barefoot bride, a long haired groom, but most importantly a couple who keep their focus on what really counts.

All the way from Namibia, these two know all about dirt roads and open spaces. It’s not surprising they decided on Bon Cap as their wedding venue.

AN OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY FOR CATHERINE & JAN-HARM’S INTIMATE BON CAP WEDDING

I think there is a special kind of energy shrouding an outdoor ceremony. Catherine & Jan-Harm exchanged vows under the canopy of a big tree in the garden at Bon Cap. With the birds singing and just enough of a gentle breeze to take the edge off the Karoo heat, they promised forever. It was as if all of Catherine & Jan-Harm’s guests where at one with them. There’s black and white image of Catherine’s mom with her eyes shut, and just taking in the moment. It sums up that energy perfectly.

As usual Michelle from Bon Cap outdid herself. This was not your average sit down wedding reception. Instead the most beautiful harvest table filled to the brim with all kinds of loveliness. The décor, simplistic and from the earth. No table settings, but instead areas for guests to mingle and enjoy the delicious eats.

Catherine and Jan-Harm, we only walked a small part of your journey with you, but you two are the kind of people who creep deep into the hearts of those you meet. We really hope that our paths will cross again. Thank you for choosing us to document your intimate Bon Cap wedding. A perfect end to our year!
